Any of a class of organic compounds having a dipolar molecule in which an oxygen atom is bonded to the nitrogen atom of a Schiff base (general formula RR′C=N+(R″)—O−, where R, R′, R″ represent alkyl or other organic groups), some of which are used experimentally to react with and stabilize free radicals.
