Drumroll, please...there is a new daily puzzle on the block! NYT connections puzzle, similar to Wordle, but five times the fun! After his hugely successful beta phase, NYT decided to keep it going. The Connections game will have you obsessively digging into your dictionary to find the four groups of words that share a common thread.

How do I Play NYT Connections?

If you're new to the NYT Connections puzzle here's how to play. On your grid, you'll start with sixteen words that you have to place into four groups. To submit a category guess you have to look for four words with a common thread. Once you’ve selected your words, you need to click/tap to select each word and press submit. If your guess is correct, it will change color; Connections has four difficulty levels. Each group is given a color which will reveal as you solve.

Yellow

Straightforward and easy.

Green

Potentially unfamiliar terms or trivia.

Blue

Potentially unfamiliar terms or trivia.

Purple

Trickiest category to guess.
