Any plant of the genus Angophora (family Myrtaceae), comprising evergreen trees and shrubs native to eastern Australia, having opposite leaves, inflorescences consisting of five-petalled whitish flowers with numerous long stamens, and fruits which are cup-shaped ribbed capsules.
