Any of several tropical plants belonging or formerly belonging to the genus Scindapsus (family Araceae), comprising epiphytic climbers native to South-East Asia; especially any of numerous cultivated varieties of the devil's ivy, Epipremnum aureum (formerly S. aureus) and of S. pictus, widely grown as house plants for their (often variegated) foliage.
